On Thursday, July 9, champions of the Peace Corps in the House of Representatives successfully defeated an amendment to scale down the Peace Corps funding. Watch the video as Representatives Nita Lowey, Sam Farr, Betty McCollum, and Steve Driehaus make impassioned arguments on behalf of the Peace Corps. It is a powerful clip that you must see. In the Senate, Senator Kit Bond Stands Tall
